"He loves worship time and going into church"
Parent Comment

Marwood School was built in 1853 when Reverend George Marwood bequeathed the land to provide a Church of England School in the village of Great Ayton. As a Church school the distinctive Christian ethos is central to the life of the school and we have close links with Christ Church in the village. Canon Paul Peverell, vicar of Christ Church, is our chairman of governors and he leads worship every Friday in School. We also attend church every half term for worship in addition to special services throughout the year for Christmas, Harvest, Easter and Ascension Day.
