Dear Parents,

I am sure that many of you will have witnessed the latest developments in Ukraine with a heavy heart. It is with a strong desire to help our global friends displaced by war that we ask for your support.

Families escaping to neighbouring countries are in desperate need of various items. If we all give a little of whatever we have spare, I am sure that together we can make a difference.

The key items required are;

• Personal care items for women and children (shampoo, sanitary products etc)
• Warm Clothing – all ages, female (including hats, gloves and scarves)
• Blankets and Sleeping bags (particularly for children)
• Dried and tinned food

All items will be gratefully received at school. The items will be collected on Thursday and taken to The Ukranian Association who will then travel to the Polish border. I appreciate that this is a very tight timescale. Please spread the word to everyone in the local community to gather as much as we can.

Our thoughts and prayers are with every family affected by this conflict.
